I am proud to serve as a Senior Investment Advisor and Branch Manager at Vista Investment Partners. With over 34 years in the financial services industry, my primary responsibilities revolve around client relationship management and providing investment recommendations. I specialize in general asset management and portfolio design, paired with a secondary focus on group retirement plans such as Corporate 401(k) plans, IRAs and Rollovers.
My career journey has taken me from well known Wall Street institutions like Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney to my status as a Registered Independent Advisor with Vista Investment Partners, offering multiple custodial platforms. Since 1991, it has been my mission and pleasure to serve my clients with active investment management and financial stewardship. I believe a large part of that commitment is providing my clients, both big and small, personal and corporate, with a higher degree of acumen and disciplined oversight of their investment portfolios.
Throughout my career, I have earned several designations and certifications, including the Certified Retirement Plan Specialist® (CRPS®), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®), and am a graduate from the College for Financial Planning’s Certified Financial Planner Professional Education Program. These qualifications help me deliver the highest Fiduciary standard of service to my clients.
What I love most about my job is developing meaningful client relationships and maintaining a flexible schedule. I believe that the greatest values I can provide for my clients are honest feedback, personalized service, and time.
Before embarking on my professional journey, I graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but my early years were spent in Tulsa, where I now reside with my wife, three dogs, and an annoying cat. We are blessed with three wonderful children and five delightful grandchildren. Outside of the office, I have a deep commitment to the Tulsa Boys' Home, a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping adolescent young men from across Oklahoma. Over the past 20+ years, I have served in various capacities at the Tulsa Boys’ Home (TBH), including Board Membership, Marketing and Development Director, and dual-term Board Chairman. The work at TBH is incredibly fulfilling and continues to be a significant part of my life. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, riding adventure motorcycles, working in the yard and “pool time”!
