Role Description:
Under general direction and with a high degree of autonomy, this role applies industry knowledge and prior professional experience to support Vista Investment Partners’ adviser growth initiatives. The position focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with investment advisers, financial planning professionals, and related organizations to identify potential affiliation and recruiting opportunities aligned with the firm’s culture and long-term objectives. The role works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external contacts to evaluate prospective advisers, coordinate transition activities, and represent the firm in a professional and compliant manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and supports business development initiatives by identifying and cultivating prospective adviser and team relationships aligned with firm strategy.
- Responds to inbound inquiries and coordinates outreach efforts, including sharing firm information, scheduling meetings, and facilitating introductory discussions.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with prospective advisers, providing high-level education regarding the firm’s platform, services, and transition process.
- Evaluates prospective adviser opportunities to assess cultural fit, investment philosophy alignment, and long-term suitability.
- Assists with adviser onboarding and transition activities in coordination with internal teams.
- Prepares or supports financial analyses, business valuations, and related modeling for prospective adviser opportunities, as needed.
- Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information related to prospective advisers and growth initiatives.

Position Requirements:
- Working knowledge of investment advisory services, securities industry practices, and financial markets.
- Familiarity with adviser business models, practice economics, and transition considerations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
- Ability to maintain fluency in investment adviser and financial planning services and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Certifications: Series 65 preferred
Experience: Prior experience in adviser relationship management, business development, recruiting, or a related financial services role preferred
